The duel begins when the challenger sets the parameters:

  • Stakes: The challenger decides on the amount of $KOON to be placed in escrow. This represents the wager for the duel.
  • Duration: Duels can last for as little as one hour or extend up to three days. This flexibility allows players to strategize based on their Rakoon’s performance capabilities and current market conditions.

Once the challenge is issued, the opponent must accept by matching the staked amount of $KOON and agreeing to the duel’s duration. If both players agree, the $KOON are locked in escrow, and the duel is officially underway.

🔥 The Battle Begins​

As the duel commences, both Rakoons compete based on their trading performance over the selected time frame. The outcome of the duel is determined by comparing the performance of each Rakoon during this period, with the winning Rakoon claiming victory and the spoils.

💰 Claiming the Rewards​

At the conclusion of the duel:

  • The winning player receives 99% of the total staked $KOON, effectively doubling their initial wager.
  • The remaining 1% is allocated as follows:
    • 20% burned, contributing to a deflationary mechanism that benefits long-term token holders.
    • 80% retained by RakoonBank to fund ongoing development and maintenance.

This structure ensures that players are not only rewarded for their skill but also contribute to the health and longevity of the game’s economy.

Players have two options when initiating a duel:

  1. Challenge a Specific Rakoon: Directly target another player’s Rakoon, offering a personalized challenge based on your assessment of their strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Use the Matching Engine: This feature allows players to find a suitable opponent through two options:
    • Spirit Match: Compete against a random Rakoon with the same Spirit type, ensuring a balanced battle.
    • Open Match: Engage with any Rakoon that matches the staked amount and duration criteria, opening up a broader range of potential opponents.
